J. Iain Smith, BSc (Hons), MBA
Iain Smith is Paragon's Director of Tutoring and Chief Operating Officer, overseeing academic standards, curriculum development, and tutor performance.
He is a full-time professional tutor specializing in mathematics and test prep, and has led the redesign of SAT and ACT math curricula at prior firms.
Iain holds a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry from Loughborough University and an MBA from Columbia Business School (Beta Gamma Sigma Honors). Prior to co-founding Paragon, he spent 12 years as a hedge fund manager and international strategy consultant, bringing a disciplined, results-driven approach to education.
Abby Tamiolakis
Abby oversees Paragon's marketing and brand presence across digital platforms, while leading the recruitment and retention of our high-caliber tutoring team. She plays a key role in maintaining the quality and consistency that defines Paragon.
Roseanne Smith
Roseanne Smith is a co-founder of Paragon Tutoring & Test Prep. While her professional commitments outside of Paragon limit her involvement in the day-to-day operations of the company, she continues to play an important role in the development and oversight of The Paragon Method, our proprietary program designed to help students manage test anxiety and perform at their best.
Her passion for student well-being and academic success remains an important part of the Paragon philosophy.
