About Paragon
A different kind of tutoring company.
Paragon is a premier tutoring and test prep firm serving students across the US and internationally.
Led by Iain Smith, perfect SAT Math scorer, former management consultant, and hedge fund manager, Paragon was built to deliver what most tutoring companies don't: consistently exceptional results.
Elite Tutors, By Design
We pay our tutors significantly more than the industry. That's how we attract and retain exceptional talent, many with Master's degrees, PhDs, and 10,000+ hours of experience.
Results That Speak
We focus on deep understanding, not shortcuts, building confidence, independence, and top-tier scores.
Serious Expertise
Our tutors include professional educators, subject-matter experts, and current and former teachers who know how to deliver results at the highest level.
White-Glove Flexibility
In-home or online (our most popular option), with scheduling designed around demanding student lives.
What we cover
- SAT, ACT, PSAT, ISEE, SSAT, SHSAT
- Most middle & high school subjects (including Honors, AP and Regents)
- Midterms, finals, and enrichment programs
Our tutors are professional tutors and industry experts, including current teachers. Each one focuses on one subject, so your student learns from a specialist, not a generalist.
We operate with an online virtual model, providing scheduling flexibility and access to exceptional tutors.
"Our tutors focus on one subject."
The bottom line
Elite tutors. Proven results. Zero compromise.
"You are such a living blessing in my kids' lives."
